STAINLESS STEEL ROPE

Stainless steel is the standard alloy used in stainless steel wire rope, rope and cable. Its resistance to corrosion is much higher than galvanized and coated ropes, but there is no difference in durability. It is therefore the material of choice in marine and saltwater-based industries. It does not react easily to chemicals in areas such as food processing, textiles and photography. Its high corrosion resistance, heat and cold resistance make stainless steel rope against pulp and chemicals a very important material in precision instruments, automobiles, fishing vessels, petrochemical equipment and other fields.

GALVANIZED STEEL ROPE

Galvanized steel wire rope is steel wire material that has undergone a galvanizing process to improve its corrosion resistance. The finished rope product is dipped in a zinc bath to completely coat it, i.e. galvanized. Zinc is used in the process because the cathode casing increases the life of the rope. Although the coating wears off over time, it is highly resistant to rust, corrosion and other aggressive chemicals. Galvanized rope can be used in industrial and construction fields, but also in agriculture and DIY projects.

COATED STEEL ROPE

Stainless steel and galvanized wire can be coated with PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or vinyl. Coated wire rope comes in transparent, black, white or any other color required in different industries. PVC coated wire is flexible, weather resistant and a very cost effective option. While not as flexible as PVC, nylon coated wire is abrasion resistant and suitable for businesses operating in extremely cold regions. Wire rope can be installed to suit specific applications.
